Heinz Recycling has been offering convenient regular recycling pickup in the Dickson, Hickman, Fairview, and Kingston Springs areas since 2018.
We have also recently expanded to offering weekly Trash pickup in Fairview as well!
Thanks for your interest in Heinz Recycling.
Right now, I am offering recycling pickups every other week for as low as $20.00 a month. This includes all commodities except glass, which you can add for an extra $5.00 a month.
Trash pickups are every week, and are as low as $25.00 a month.
The approximate amount of recycling I can pick up each time is roughly equal to four thirteen gallon kitchen trash bags full, plus cardboard. (An 18 gallon tote holds a little more than a 13 gallon kitchen trash bag.)
The 18 gallon recycling bins included in the monthly fee are now available with built in dividers on request! Or you can just use your own bags or bins If you prefer.
My customers place the recyclables at the curb by 7:00 AM every other week, with broken down cardboard underneath.
If you have a long driveway or are unable to put the recycling at the street, that is fine too. Just as long as it is near your driveway.
All recycling needs to be separated.
I recycle clean cardboard, paper, aluminum, metal, and plastic.
Glass can be added for an extra $5.00 a month.
Payments are due on the first pickup of the month. Payments can be taped to the recycling container in a plastic bag, paid online on this website via PayPal with the "Pay your bill" tab, or mailed to P. O. Box 181 Lyles, TN 37098.

There are also some promotions to tell you about.
1. If you refer a friend, or neighbor, you receive one free month! ( no limit to how many you refer)
2. If you pay for an entire year, you receive an additional free month.
Recycling Guidelines.
In order to keep the cost of recycling pickup low, there are a few guidelines.
1. The monthly fee covers about three large recycling bins full (or four 13 gallon kitchen trash bags full), and two stacks of broken down regular size boxes as high as a bin (Please completely break down all boxes). If you occasionally have a little more than this, that is fine, otherwise the charge for 50% more is $5.00 extra a month.
2. I recycle plastics with the recycling symbol 1-2. (Not styrofoam)
3. Please separate aluminum and steel cans. (Steel cans stick to a magnet)
4. Please rinse all glass, plastic and aluminum containers and throw away soiled cardboard (such as dirty pizza boxes) to avoid contaminating the recycling stream.
5. Finally, please no styrofoam, foam pellets, or plastic bags of any kind. Unfortunately, there is no market in Tennessee for them right now, and no one to buy them. I recommend throwing these items away. Please keep in mind that there may be an item I am not able to recycle.
